This is one of the most tempestuous games that a clawminal cat child can play. This is a game in which their aim is to annoy the living heck out of you by strategically stealing pieces of the puzzle that you are working on. They will hide their head behind something, stick out a paw and recklessly swipe at the pieces in the hopes of getting one for themselves. At the very least they throw your concentration, at the very worst they throw your puzzling efforts into disarray. Either way the process is frustrating as all heck, especially when they not only know better, they know exactly what they are doing and how wrong it is.

Oh snap, talk about a puzzle protest. This is a full on lie in protest covering all areas of the puzzling effort. This is a situation that could only be born of this pawrent being a serial puzzler. Someone who spends all their time puzzling and so not paying their cat children enough attention. The cat children catch onto the fact that the puzzles are stealing their pawrent’s attention and so step in to make it impossible for the puzzle to be accessed. Thereby neutralizing their threat and exponentially increasing their chances at getting more treats. A devious plan if ever we had seen one.
